Bill,

I saw his "rip-off report" when I Googled your name (looking for your phone number), at the beginning of the year. That was nothing short of a hatchet job by a disgruntled former employee. Move on.

Onlookers, I've known Bill for a number of years. He is a formidable competitor, an optimist's optimist, and a good man. His contribution to the San Diego mortgage banking and brokerage community is sound and his integrity is intact. Bill is one of the few guys to whom I don't mind losing a potential customer (although, I'll compete against him hard).

We have worked for over 6 years with Bill Lyons and his companies. He has extraordinary integrity and has always delivered on his commitments.

Today I do business with Bill Lyons and will continue to do business with Bill Lyons.

I find it disturbing that Bill would loose business over a bitter employee. I suggest to a person reading this: Look to the facts and not the emotional slanderous rants of a bitter individual.

Slander is the revenge of a coward.

I can only say good things about Bill.

While working at LEI financial exciting things happened. The secret was out and it spread like wildfire. Bill found a gold mine and LEI became an assembly line of success.

We became too good, too fast. Bill is guilty of providing an opportunity to anyone that was willing to work. His trusting nature and generous disposition opened him to many challenges. People wanted a piece of the pie and LEI was the perfect opportunity. I’m glad to have witnessed Bill persevere in the face of adversity.

Bill has done great things and will continue to succeed. The knowledge and experience I gained while working with him is priceless. He is the type of Boss you relocate just so you can join his team. He is the leader that inspires you to achieve greatness. I’m grateful for the time I worked with Bill and the friendship that has endured

I am a big believer that Truth prevails. I'd like to tell some Truth about Bill Lyons. I refer my best clients to him. He and his team handle them with honesty and respect in a challenging marketplace, including refunding one client a large sum because they weren't able to help her. He has always been above board with me and everyone I've ever been in joint discussions with that included him over the years. Furthermore if I had an opportunity to do further business with him, in either direction, I'd pursue it without hesitation. I'm grateful to know other entrepreneurs who keep learning and growing and working hard to help others, and Bill is one of those entrepreneurs.

"Tough time never last but tough people always do" and Bill is the toughest person one can count on in this panic financial situation.

The man with high values, moral standards and ethical business practices makes Bill Lyon a different face in the crowd.

A bright future is awaiting for you.

Agreed 100% and well said! I just couldn't stand by on the sidelines any longer and let this continue.

"The past is the past, its just what happened, its not what we deserve, its what we do today and tomorrow that matter."

It is a healing process to let it go and move on - most have! The rest must as it has been almost 2yrs!

I hope he can and I wish him the best but not at my expense.

Thanks so much! You are always one to shoot it straight!

There are a number of unfortunate, but very predictable human behaviors that arise when there is money, stress and power involved. I think, based on my experience at LEI, there were extreme money making opportunities brought to the table by LEI for its employees and Quint benefited GREATLY. Repeatedly the company would discuss its success story and Quint mentioned a number of times that he was going to quit or did quit but was brought back and motivated by Bill to work even harder. And the hard work paid off big time.

What is sad that when the times got tough, the friendship was clearly not strong enough and that is okay, but when it comes to lies and more lies, it is not okay.

Large amounts of stress and pressure make people do things they would otherwise not do and I recognize that. I think if things could be done over we would all do something different, but we cannot. I would suggest that this little tiff needs to end. Its immature and frankly only perpetuating the situation.

Bill Lyons has always had the best of intentions, have mistakes been made, probably, but he has always been a stand up businessman with integrity and morals. Quint is also a good person and sales person, for that matter, but these actions have crossed the line and its my guess he will regret them down the road.

Regarding your results in Google, feel free to email me and I will give you some tips on how to bury bad results.

Keep your chin up, stay above the BS and keep working hard and all will fall into place.

I always hate it when business gets personal.

Paris Kody Pulford at 4:09pm April 19
Mr Lyons...Few animals including the human kind dare to challenge the lion..even in periods of extreme hunger or fighting for territory. The force generated by a persons actions such as yours is Karma...Use it wisely and like a physiology student one said, "I trust Lions over my own kind ever-time, because it is the passive but persistent attitude what will stop others on the attack!"
Bill, they don't call Lions the "King of the Jungle"
