In my opinion Obama and the lenders are now seeing this as the only viable solution to get someone out of a mcmansion they cant afford and re-underwritten into a new home that they CAN afford and that is down to their size. You can&#039;t modify a loan to 1% banks will lose (neg. arbitrage) once cost of funds increase</description>

Onlookers, I&#039;ve known Bill for a number of years.  He is a formidable competitor, an optimist&#039;s optimist, and a good man.  His contribution to the San Diego mortgage banking and brokerage community is sound and his integrity is intact.  Bill is one of the few guys to whom I don&#039;t mind losing a potential customer (although, I&#039;ll compete against him hard).</description>
