In my opinion Obama and the lenders are now seeing this as the only viable solution to get someone out of a mcmansion they cant afford and re-underwritten into a new home that they CAN afford and that is down to their size. You can’t modify a loan to 1% banks will lose (neg. arbitrage) once cost of funds increase

Bill,

I saw his “rip-off report” when I Googled your name (looking for your phone number), at the beginning of the year. That was nothing short of a hatchet job by a disgruntled former employee. Move on.

Onlookers, I’ve known Bill for a number of years. He is a formidable competitor, an optimist’s optimist, and a good man. His contribution to the San Diego mortgage banking and brokerage community is sound and his integrity is intact. Bill is one of the few guys to whom I don’t mind losing a potential customer (although, I’ll compete against him hard).

We have worked for over 6 years with Bill Lyons and his companies. He has extraordinary integrity and has always delivered on his commitments.

Today I do business with Bill Lyons and will continue to do business with Bill Lyons.

I find it disturbing that Bill would loose business over a bitter employee. I suggest to a person reading this: Look to the facts and not the emotional slanderous rants of a bitter individual.

Slander is the revenge of a coward.
